“It’s a blast from start to finish!”
“I learned so much about the world.”
“We worked so hard, but it was worth it.”
The experience of our final year trip to the USA begins in September when students begin the transition from Castelli pupil, to international ambassador. They start researching the country they will represent and four different globally important issues. Over the weeks they prepare position papers, and practice debating.
By February everyone is itching to get going, and with passports prepared and visas confirmed, the HMUN delegates from Castelli International School embark on a once-in-a-life time adventure.
The trip has a strong cultural element so everyone has to hit the ground running. There are so many sights to see, in New York and Boston and we cram as much as we can in to the week we are away.
The HMUN conference is an eye opener for all our students. This student-led conference attracts young people from all around the world, and as our delegates mix and debate with other participants, new friendships are forged and political alliances made.
