[vc_row height=”small”][vc_column][vc_column_text]The humble chip is a firm favourite with kids, but fried or oven baked, it isn’t the healthiest food available so, we’ve been making Green Chips with the elementary classes.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row height=”small”][vc_column width=”1/3″][us_single_image image=”1186″ size=”full”][/vc_column][vc_column width=”2/3″][vc_column_text]
Kids learned the following:
Greens are green, leafy vegetables.
They are GOOD for us because they are rich in:
- Vitamin B: good for blood cells, skin and bone development, nervous system.
- Vitamin C: good for immune system, connective tissues, whole body
- Calcium: good for bones and teeth
- Fiber: Helps us pass waste out of the body, keeps our intestines clean!
People having chips for tea
Can be discerned quite easily
In every step they have a spring
Their day goes yay and woo and zing!
A sunny sunshine shines away
When they think up their chip soiree
Fluffy, crispy lovely things
For tea-time queens and dinner kings
