While Castelli’s class four boys were winning the trophy in their tournament, the girls of class five were making their teachers and parents just as proud. The girls had a wonderful attitude, as always, and were unlucky to narrowly lose three matches 1-0. They were very supportive of each other, and played with smiles on their faces.
At the end of the tournament, the event organizer actively sought out Mr Clarke to tell him that Castelli’s girls were without doubt the friendliest, most sporting and most good-mannered team at the tournament.
This was as pleasing as the boys’ victory, and it would be fair to say that both teams were victorious at the tournament.
Well done, girls! Castelli is proud of you.
