Castelli International School Parents Association

CIPA at work

As we begin a new school year we welcome all new and returning families.

CIPA is a parent run organization designed to enhance and support the well being of our children and families.

All parents are automatically members of CIPA. The school welcomes and encourages parent involvement and support in CIPA sponsored events and activities.

CIPA's Mission:

  • To serve as the official organization of parents who individually and cooperatively work with teachers and administrators to make a positive contribution towards the community spirit at CIS.
  • To initiate and execute projects designed to increase parental interest and participation in community activities.
  • To organize an annual fund raising events to raise money for charity and school needs.

General Information:

  • CIPA is run by the CIPA coordinator (usually a parent assigned to this post), classroom parent representatives (elected at the beginning of the school year), and parent volunteers.
  • Parents who wish to contribute new ideas for community activities or participate in already existing ones should contact the CIPA coordinator or classroom representative.
  • Communications such as reminders, date changes and sign-up sheets for major events are made through the student's diaries. Upon reading the diary entry, parents will sign to acknowledge receiving the information.
  • Parents wishing to communicate with CIPA can leave notes in the CIPA mailbox in the school office, or send an email to the following address: cipa@castelli-international.it.
  • Any communications sent out by CIPA are automatically submitted to the Director for approval.

Coffee Hour:

At the beginning of the school year parents have an opportunity to greet old friends and make new ones, meet with teachers, administrators, and our CIPA coordinator. Note From CIPA Coordinator:

Hello to all parents and a warm welcome to parents who are new to the school this year.

CIPA's fundamental role is to enhance the school's social profile and community spirit, promoting friendship and fun through parties and gatherings, sports days and other activities. Once a yearCIPA is responsible for organising a fundraising event.

All parents are automatically belong to Castelli International Association, and our association is based on voluntary participation. We aim to hold meetings about once a month, usually at 2.00 pm. All Class Representatives do their best to attend. During these meetings we discuss many ideas such as Christmas cards, Pot Luck suppers for the Christmas concerts, etc.

We warmly welcome new ideas and enthusiasm and look forward to seeing those of you who can manage to attend. We wish all of you and your children a very enjoyable year at Castelli International.
